                   initiative focused\r\n                        on developing a world-class supercomputing ecosystem through infrastructure, applications, skill\r\n                        development, and R&#038;D. Under its application development pillar, the <strong>Materials and\r\n                            Computational\r\n                            Chemistry (MSCC)<\/strong> project develops and deploys advanced software for materials\r\n                        modelling and\r\n                        chemistry simulations on HPC platforms. Following the success of <strong><a\r\n                                href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/p\/mscc-applications-nsm\/discussion\/training\/thread\/a7ed37ca60\/\"><u>First\r\n                                    Workshop on Accelerating\r\n                                    scientific discovery in Chemistry and Materials Science with HPC and AI (ACMS\r\n                                    2025)<\/u><\/a><\/strong> , which\r\n                        brought together <strong>150+ researchers, students, and developers from 30+\r\n                            institutions<\/strong>, the <strong><u>Second\r\n                                Workshop ACMS 2026<\/u><\/strong> aims to expand collaboration at the intersection of\r\n                        Computational Chemistry,\r\n                        Materials Science, AI, and HPC.\r\n                    <\/p>\r\n\r\n                    <p>\r\n                        Computational chemistry and materials science leverage methods such as Density Functional Theory\r\n                        (DFT), Molecular Dynamics (MD), and mesoscale modelling to study complex systems across multiple\r\n                        length and time scales. Advances in AI\/ML and HPC are enabling accelerated materials design,\r\n                        molecular screening, property prediction, workflow automation, and data-driven scientific\r\n                        discovery. The <strong><u>Second Workshop ACMS 2026<\/u><\/strong> will bring together\r\n                        researchers, domain experts, and\r\n                        software developers to discuss emerging challenges, showcase innovations, and highlight\r\n                        open-source and indigenously developed computational tools.\r\n                    <\/p>\r\n\r\n                    <p>\r\n                        Through keynote lectures, invited talks, software demonstrations, and poster sessions,\r\n                        <strong><u>ACMS 2026<\/u><\/strong>\r\n                        will promote awareness and adoption of advanced computational methodologies and software.
