About μ2mech

“μ2Mech” is a promising software tool for researchers and educators in materials science and engineering. It uses data from Thermocalc and phase field modeling to simulate microstructure evolution, integrated with FEM to study elastic properties of binary alloys. The tool features an intuitive GUI, a solver, and a visualizer, making it accessible to users without coding expertise. It allows for the incorporation of new binary alloys, enhancing its adaptability and relevance. The software is versatile, capable of running on standard servers and HPC clusters.
